Dave Fromer Soccer is excited to announce our 33rd year of soccer camps for boys and girls of all levels, ages 5-12. Under the guidance of our dynamic, experienced coaching staff, campers will develop their ball skills and tactical learning, improve their fitness, and have a lot of fun in a supportive atmosphere. Our program curriculum includes sessions for ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, goal keeping, and creative use of open space.. This year we are also adding speed and agility training, and our own World Cup Tournament to build on the excitement coming from Brazil. Join us and see why many campers consider their weeks at Dave Fromer Soccer Camp to be the highlight of their summer, and enthusiastically return year after year!
All levels welcome, beginning through advanced. For boys and girls 5-12 years.
Campers are initially grouped according to age and experience level. Requests to be with friends, if in appropriate age groups, are always honored. Campers demonstrating the need for a more challenging curriculum may be offered the option of moving to a different group. Campers should bring a hearty lunch and snack, sunscreen, and a water bottle. (Water is always available for refills at the camp site.) Wear cleats, shinguards, and long socks (not required but highly recommended). Please label personal items including jackets, backpacks, etc. Please do not bring personal items such as collectibles (cards, toys), audio equipment such as iPods, cell phones, etc. to camp. We cannot be responsible for these items.
Lunches from Lucinda’s, Burritoville, Boo Koo Restaurant, Edo Grill and/or Rocco’s (depending on camp site) may be purchased each day when you check in. We have menus and order forms at the registration table. (We do not take lunch orders before Monday morning of camp.) You can order for any number of days; cash or check is preferred. (Make check out to Marin Soccer Camp.) Lunches are ordered by 10 am each morning, so if you arrive after that time, please bring a bag lunch. Drinks are not available for purchase.

Welcome to the 29th annual Winter Indoor Soccer League. We look forward to providing a fun, exciting, skill- building season of indoor soccer!
For 28 years, the Winter Indoor Soccer League (WISL) has provided Marin County youth soccer players with an exciting and fulfilling soccer experience during the winter months. Players from ages 4-18 are given the opportunity to continue (or begin) their participation in the beautiful sport of soccer in a supportive, inclusive format, and to develop the skills, game awareness, and team spirit that they can then carry over to their outdoor soccer play.

Players can register as a confirmed team member, or as an individual. Individuals will be placed on a team.
FEE: $175 per player, by Dec. 6th.
No sibling discount. After Dec. 6, a late fee of $25 per player is applied. Late registrations will be accepted until Dec. 13. Thereafter, interested players will be placed on the Wait List and included as space is available. The entire Wait List registration fee will be returned if we cannot place your child, (most waited listed players will be placed on teams).
Written requests for refunds must be received by email by January 4, 2014. There is a $40 per player non-refundable administrative fee for all refunds. Or you may request a credit voucher for the full amount. After the program has started, only credit vouchers (for the full amount, no expiry) will be issued. You must have this voucher (hard copy, original only) to use credit; please email or call to obtain one.
PLEASE NOTE: WISL fills to capacity each year. Players will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. All signups received after the registration deadline will be automatically placed on a waiting list and included on a space-available basis.
A team consists of 9-10 players. We recommend that a team have no more than 10 players in order to assure adequate playing time for each team member. However, this is not a mandatory limit. Players may register as members of a team by designating their coach’s name on the registration form. Coaches must submit a roster of their players and a team name.
Players registering as individuals will be combined to form teams of comparable level for league play. However, we encourage parents to consider organizing a group of 9-10 players and entering as a team. Even if you have 4-5 players, you can start a team and we can add from our individual-registrant list to complete the roster. A coach and/or team parent is required for each team. The time commitment is 1 to 2 hours per weekend game only. No prior coaching experience is necessary.
We will provide information and assistance as needed. Whenever possible, requests for teammates will be honored.
The WISL offers an exciting series of games scheduled with awareness of the diverse playing levels and experience of its participants. Divisions are organized within age groups based on a combination of factors, including teams' and individuals' scheduling needs, (anticipated) skill level, and (when possible) geographical convenience.
Players wear T-shirts, soccer shorts or sweatpants, and tennis shoes (w/ non-marking soles). Shinguards are not mandatory, but are strongly recommended. Special indoor soccer shoes are available at soccer stores. Goalkeepers may use goalie gloves and/or knee pads (we do not provide either). WISL provides balls, scrimmage vests, goals, and first-aid equipment. The ball is soft, felt-covered. Coaches wishing to purchase their own ball may do so at soccer-supply stores. However, to avoid mix-ups, we ask that coaches not bring their own indoor ball(s) to the games.
Marin WISL games are scheduled at locations throughout Marin County. Facility availability is limited and size of facilities varies (i.e., smaller gyms may not be suitable for older groups, etc.); participants cannot be guaranteed play at the nearest site (see FAQ page for more details).
Unclaimed items will be held for 2 weeks and then will be donated to a local charitable organization.
